Entry #3 part B!!!

3B.
With today's technological advances it would be silly to think that a business could set long term goals to achieve. There are so many updates and IT gurus who need to constantly fix bugs and update software to make sure that all data is protected due to legal requirements. There are also many hackers in modern times trying to get personal information from others and steal account details through viruses and scams, so changes need to be made frequently. Sometimes the organisation needs to change the view of their website to keep up with market changes and accessibility, which in time will make it easier for consumers to operate (Kremkow, B.G 2015).
From a personal point of view, would you set a long-term goal for something that is going to possibly change in three months’ time? I know I wouldn’t! Organisations should start with short term goals for the website which is more realistic! These goals might be in the form of number views, likes and shares of the website on social media which in the long run will get more people viewing the website. The goals from number of views is a good example of a short-term goal which is achievable. Finally, I’ll leave you with this thought, if you could choose to set a long-term goal or short-term goal for a website which would you do?
